Contratulations to the Royal Panthers for competing at the 2018 NYC Chess Championships! Next up for the 282 Royal Panthers Chess Team is the New York State Chess Championships in Saratoga Springs.

We’re proud to be in the definitive guide for NYC parents by experts from Teacher’s College Press and a starred “InsideSchools.org pick” for District 13! A new Principal and energized parents and teachers has brought achievements inside and outside the classroom, making 282 a beacon for quality education with a diverse environment.

Park Slope School 282 unlocks curiosity and love for knowledge, giving every student the opportunity to learn as they are best able. How? With leading academic curriculum, experiential learning, and through building strong relationships between peers, mentor and community.

Strong enrichment programs brought incredible achievements to Park Slope School 282 in 2016/17.  Our Royal Panthers chess team won the national chess championships u900 division in Nashville!  Our Panthers Rugby team took first place in citywide championships!  We won awards at the Kings borough science fair! To name just a few.
